Alowishus Exists To Support Our Community
“Alowishus Delicious was established in 2011 as a place to connect with family, friends, clients and the local community. We believe in ‘keeping things local’ and work hard to grow meaningful & lasting relationships with our staff, our suppliers and of course you, our customer. Our goal is, and always will be, to provide you with great value and outstanding service. We look forward to seeing and serving you every day.”
~ Tracey McPhee, Founder
Here are just some of the ways we support our community, both locally and nationally.
Alowishus Pay It Forward
Alowishus Delicious launched the Pay it Forward Sandwich program in November 2015 and are proud to partner with local organisations to deliver the program to the needy in both Bundaberg and Maryborough.
Bundaberg Health Services Foundation
We donate $1 from the sale of every baby cino to local organisations. In Bundaberg the money is proudly donated to the Bundaberg Health Foundation for use in the Children’s Ward at the Bundaberg Base Hospital. To date we have donated well over $5000. In Maryborough the program donates to Qld Scripture Union for use in the local schools with their Chappy Program.
Mayoral School Chaplaincy Support Breakfast
Alowishus Delicious are proud sponsors of the annual Mayoral School Chaplaincy Support Breakfast. In Maryborough our Baby Cino Programs also support the local Chappy program.
CafeSmart
CafeSmart unites the community over our favourite brew to help fund local homeless services. Alowishus proudly participates in CafeSmart every August, by donating $1 per coffee sold.
Bundaberg Art Prize
We are proud sponsors of the Bundaberg Art Prize. The prize aims “to bring out the best in Bundaberg’s artists by elevating the Bundaberg Art Prize to being one of the most recognised and sought after Regional Art Events in Australia”.
Youth Alive – United We Stand
Alowishus is proud to sponsor United We Stand, a youth event run by Youth Alive to empower young Christian Australians across many locations and many denominations.
